What advantages do I have by registering?

The registration offers a platform for artists to present their works to a wider audience. In addition to the main exhibition, all works are published in a high-quality gallery catalog and shown on the large screen in the gallery for a month. The gallery team is working hard to present the catalog to as many potential customers as possible. The gallery is in a prominent location, so it is visited by several people every day. In order to keep the location lively, events are organized on a regular basis. The registered works are also published by the gallery on the homepage and in the social media.

What do I need to register?

You will need three photos of your own work with description and price. Website or social media account dedicated exclusively to your art. This will be linked in the catalog and gives interested parties the opportunity to get an overview of the entire portfolio. Photo of yourself, it can be creative, the artist should be recognizable to a certain extent. Short text about yourself, which can be entered in the form of an artistic statement.

Can I also register from abroad or is registration only possible for Swiss artists?

There is no restriction, in fact we encourage the gallery to show international artworks. When selecting works for the main exhibition, consideration is given to whether it is possible to deliver the work to the gallery on time. It is also possible to indicate in the application that the works should only be shown in the catalog.

Do I need professional photos of my work?

Today's cell phone photos have sufficient resolution to take good quality photos. It is important that the photos are the work without a background in a borderless crop. There should also be no reflections or excessive editing. Photos are business cards. Well-presented works are more attractive to customers.

How do I set prices for my art?

Demand determines the price. If you have already sold several works at a certain price, you should stick to it. For up-and-coming artists, it is very important to keep price expectations within limits. Prices above 1000 francs should be kept for already recognized or professionally trained artists. The gallery does not question the artists' price expectations. However, when selecting works for the exhibition, we carefully check whether the prices are realistic. After all, our aim is to sell the works.

What does the exhibition look like? Who will be exhibiting?

The exhibition comprises around 20 works by various authors. One work per artist will be shown. In the case of series, several works by one author can also be shown. We attach great importance to the diversity of the exhibition. We show different styles and techniques: Painting, drawing, illustration, collage, digital art, photography, sculpture, jewelry etc. As we are a commercial gallery, we pay attention not only to the high artistic quality but also to the sales potential.
